Bottle Pop Party Co. held a poll on their Facebook page asking what the biggest do’s and do not’s of a wedding welcome bag were. The number one response was that wedding welcome bags for guests are a big DO! Below are my favorite ideas on what to include in a wedding welcome bag.
If you are in search of the welcome bag itself, these are a super cute option and are less than $1 each!

Three Tips for Wedding Welcome Bags
as told by Shannon of Bottle Pop Party Co.
- DO: Write a welcome note! A quick, general note welcomes guests and lets them know any pertinent details about the event, transportation, or timing. Your guests will appreciate the welcoming sentiment and the heads up on what to expect for the day.
- DO: Play Doctor. A few packets of Advil and a couple band-aids are the best additions to purses or wallets when attending a wedding! From heels that hurt, to the inevitable hangover headache, these are quick and cheap items your guests will thank you up and down for.
- DON’T: Fill the bag with brochures or maps of the area. If your guests need something to do, or a place to eat, those brochures are most likely already in the hotel lobby. DO give them your top picks on area attractions and restaurants instead of making them search one out.
