Pink Spruce Photography is excited to announce its move back into The Historic Fortney Building in downtown Viroqua. If you have followed Pink Spruce studio’s journey, you may remember when it originally started in this same building. However, the building was in a much different place at that time. After a city inspection, Pink Spruce couldn’t call The Fortney building home until the new owners made some significant renovations. And renovate they did!
On April 2nd, 2021, four small businesses located in downtown Viroqua, Wisconsin, helped the new owners of The Historic Fortney Building celebrate completing the ground level renovations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Historic Fortney Building Ribbon Cutting
The Wrobel family, owners of the building, cut the ribbon held by Viroqua Chamber President Luke Zahm and Mayor Mischel. All four of the new businesses that now call The Historic Fortney Building home (Pink Spruce Photography, Linnea Wyant Salon, Ridge + Valley Counseling, and Driftless Healing Arts) participated in the ceremony.
Next on the docket for the building renovation appears to be the front lobby area, with plans to serve as a lounge area with elevated tasting plates and drinks. I believe they plan to be open by this summer! Who wants to join me when they open??

It was amazing to be a part of the transformation of this building! It was fun to have a (very) small part in some of the design aesthetics. I chose the black wall color, which is the same color used on the building’s exterior!
The new address of the Pink Spruce Studio is: 114 W. Court Street, Suite A in Viroqua, Wisconsin
I look forward to hosting many wedding reveal sessions and also consultations! We also designed the space to keep indoor newborn sessions in mind.
