Rustic Fall Inspired Wedding at Monona Terrace in Madison, WI
Brian and Jake are both educators, so their schedules dictated a summer wedding. However, they had their hearts set on a rustic fall inspired wedding affair, so they picked The Monona Terrace as their venue since it catered to their burnt orange, burgundy, and grey color scheme. If you didn’t know the August wedding date on the calendar (or how hot it was outside that day), you would have guessed it was an autumnal wedding indeed! The main flower used in the decor was the sunflower as it has significance to the couple. All of the centerpieces and favors were DIY’d by the couple (yes, even all of the twine wrapped wine bottles). The signage and programs were designed by the pair as well. Speaking of wine bottles, the couple LOVES wine – we did their engagement session at their favorite local winery!

A unique touch that was found at the reception was a family favored saying printed on little slips that were found inside matchbooks.
