This was my first time getting the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Dixon’s Apple Orchard in Cadott, Wisconsin. I pulled into the driveway, and instantly knew it was going to be the most perfect day! Danielle and Tyler held their ceremony at the venue’s woodsy location set for a rustic outdoor wedding.

Guests rode in by wagon to the ceremony site. They were then whisked back to the barn for a rustic (yet elegant) affair.
The couple reading their vows was the highlight of the ceremony for me. I get choked up every time a couple writes their own vows.
There were plenty of laughs throughout the day. Danielle and Tyler are fun-loving individuals, therefore it only made sense everyone had a ton of fun. Their officiant (Danielle’s brother) made me laugh right out loud during the ceremony and the wedding party was definitely having a great time throughout the day as well. The guys especially showed me a little extra love as I toppled head over heels from tripping on a rock I didn’t notice when I tried to back up for a shot. Nobody had their cameras out (thank goodness for that and the fact that I always wear leggings under my dress)!
The day had the most perfect sunny spring weather therefore we were also blessed with a fantastic sunset – and you know I had to sneak Danielle and Tyler out for photos while it set!
