After chatting with Allison and Ryan about their engagement session, I knew they wanted it to be fall inspired. I love pairing a fall engagement session to a fall wedding date for the following year! The couple also wanted to incorporate a rustic, outdoorsy feel. Allison mentioned she loved the idea of having pine trees as the backdrop of their photos. So, naturally I suggested my property at Cassell Hollow Farm in Viroqua, WI.

Allison and Ryan probably thought I was crazy for taking their photos where I did. Bonus points for those who can guess where on the property we took some of the favorite shots. However, I knew the lighting was right, it was going to provide pine trees, and it was going to give me a bit of the remaining fall color to work with.
